Terms written to be read, not scrolled past. The short version: be an adult, be honest about who you are, and treat consent as non-negotiable — because here, it is.

1. Eligibility
Ember is for adults 18 and older, verified before any profile becomes visible. Joining a city founding list on this website also requires that you are 18 or older.
2. Your account and conduct
One person (or one consenting pair) per profile, honestly represented. Consent applies to everything: messages, photos, meetings. “Pushy after a no” is a report category, and reports are reviewed by humans within 24 hours.
3. Purchases
Membership and Spark bundles are priced exactly as displayed, tax included. Cancellation is available in two taps and takes effect at the end of the paid period. Unused Sparks do not expire.
4. Enforcement and appeals
Violations may lead to warnings, suspensions, or bans. Every ban includes a reason code you can read and an appeal flow inside the app — not an unmonitored inbox.
5. The waitlist
Joining a founding list reserves a founding-member badge for the email address you provide. It creates no payment obligation and no guarantee of a launch date; city openings depend on reaching 500 founding members.
